The videos are free so watch and download at will. If you would like to support the site, you can buy one of the "Happy Bottom Riding Club" 0r the "Clark Pauken Ricketts" CDs but don't feel obligated! My intent is to pass along some things that may help aspiring guitarist's. Over the years I have heard guitar solo's that were what I considered to be inspired. Playing a lick is one thing, playing from the soul is altogether something else. Though the influential solo's are numbered, this is not the way I have prioritized them. More likely its when I thought of a worthy solo or heard one on the radio and said, ooh that's a good one and went down to the studio and put it on video. Just like learning the fundamental's of swinging a golf club are important to playing golf well, getting the basics of good technique and a thorough understanding of scales, modes, and chord structure are important to guitarist's to allow them to play whatever they hear in their head. That's what I am trying to get across in the lesson videos. The Influential Solos videos are in wmv format so by holding down the ctrl-shift-s keys, you can slow the videos down to see how they are played. Hold down the ctrl-shift-n keys to return to normal speed. My schedule is nuts but I hope to add videos on a weekly basis so check back often as you just may find something new!
